I am so excited that a vegan restaurant so close to home is opening!! Now veggies in the downtown area will have two great options for 100% harm-free eating. Maybe we can exchange some recipes! Good luck and thank you!!

I am so thrilled that a vegan restaurant has finally opened in Albany! I have long been trying to educate restaurants that there is an untapped market out there as vegans like to dine out too! Thank you and best wishes on your new place!

Completely worth the wait, Pat! Your family and staff have done a wonderful job with the cafe and, as was the case with Little Anthony's, you can expect to see us at least once a week. It'll take a few weeks to try all the menu items but the selection is terrific. Many thanks from Albany Vegans and keep up the great work!

Hey, I'm really glad to see a vegan place open up right down the street. Your menu looks great. It would look even better if you made vegan buffalo wings! Yum!!! -Adam

I have been at your cafe a couple times already and every time it has been awesome. One piece of constructive criticism...your prices are cheap and highly reasonable, however the fry portion/price is strangly disappointing.Just a thought on your food.

hey, the food i've had so far was really good and i'm really glad theirs a vegan place in town promoting animal rights but i have 2 suggestions 1) a tip jar for the employees 2) theirs not many vegetables on the menu for a vegan place...i think having a few vegetable dishes on the menu rather than being so focused on faux meets and cheeses would help bring more people. a menu got passed around the restaurant where i work and i heard several people say they would eat there if it wasn't all fake meats...and personally i love to eat vegan but try to avoid a lot of soy products and know other vegetarians who are the same way. good luck peace

Thank you soooooo much! I am a vegan St. Rose student and it is so great to have some tasty options available to me when I don't feel like cooking. Thank God for you guys, I was beginning to feel like I was the only vegan in Albany.

Thank you for opening a vegan restaurant in Albany!!!! The place is squeaky clean and everyone is super friendly. I'm hoping to see you around for a long time to come so hope this feedback is helpful. Would love to see some whole grain breads for sandwich options. The idea of vegan pizza in downtown Albany is a dream come true. Whole wheat crust pizza/calzones would be blissful. More veggie/brown rice/beans/tofu type dishes would also be a welcome addition. (Not to compare you to Shades of Green, but I sure do miss it.) Thanks again and best of luck with the business.

We've been waiting for a restaurant like yours ever since Shades of Green closed! Great sandwiches, especially the Texas cheesesteak. You have the best vegan desserts in the entire Capital region! It would be great to see a few gluten free options.

Wow! We had lunch here yesterday, everything was great! Wonderful potato/carrot soup, grilled seitan wrap and tempeh bacon wrap. The place is sparkling clean and the staff could not have been nicer. The pizzas coming out of the oven looked fabulous as well. Congratulations and best wishes in the future!
